Checkfront is a cloud based application. That means there is no software to install and maintain. We manage upgrades, backups and keep employ the highest security practices to keep your data safe and secure.
We support all modern web browsers and operating systems including Windows, Apple and Linux.
As of June 29, 2017, Checkfront will require browsers that support TLS 1.2, including Internet Explorer 11+, Firefox, Chrome and Safari 7+. Our customer facing booking interface mirrors these requirements.
Our dynamic user interface is designed to work on any size monitor, but works best on monitors with a resolution width of 1024px or greater.
You will always have the best experience using the most up to date browser possible. We recommend Chrome.
Internet Explorer on Windows
Checkfront works on most smart phones including the iPad, iPhone and Android. We have separate apps for iOS and Android.
Since Checkfront is accessed via your browser, it’s important to have access to a consistent high-speed internet connection to make the best use of the software. If your internet connection is unreliable and access to your booking software is critical throughout the day, an online booking system may not be the best option for your business.
- Q: What happens if my internet connection goes down?
A: The best of internet providers do on occasion have problems. If you have cellular access and a smart phone / tablet, you can still access Checkfront. You may also wish to enable offline storage in your mail client so you can still gain access to booking invoices when offline.
- Q: Is there any way to download Checkfront onto my own server?
A: No. Checkfront is software-as-a-service (Saas) and does not license the software outside of its network.
