Commission Report

The commission report in Checkfront provides an overview of commissions owed and paid to and from the partners configured in your account.




Hide Chart

To hide the chart at the top of the screen, click on the Hide Chart button.




The chart will disappear, as seen in the animation above. To show the chart again, click on the same button, which will now be labelled Show Button.


Payout List

Next to the Hide Chart button is a Payout List button.




Clicking on this will show a breakdown of all listed items in the database that are available for commission payouts. Bonus commissions are in addition to the base commission calculation of the item sold.

Sort By Date

When selecting a date range for the report, you can choose date created, the start date or the end date.




Once you’ve made your selection, it’s time to choose a more specific period of time for which to generate a report. You can choose a custom date range, or, one of the options from the drop-down list.




Sort By Partner

To generate a report for a specific partner, or selection of partners, click on the partners drop-down menu, as seen below.




Check the box to the right of each partner you wish to include in the report. You can use the search box to quickly find a partner if you have a long list to get through!

When you’re ready, click on the screen, outside the drop-down, to close it. The report will automatically update to reflect your changes.


Sort By Commission Owed/Paid

By default, you will see all commissions in the report, based on the filtering you may have done already.




Using the drop-down menu, though, you can choose to report only on commissions that are owed to you, or commission payments that you still owe. There’s also an option to view both owed and owing at the same time. If you select all commissions, that will also include commissions that have already been settled.


Reset Report

To reset the report and return to the default view, click the Clear button, as shown below.

Date Booked

Date the booking was created.

Start Date

Date the booking will commence.


Partner account to which the booking is attributed.

Partner Group

If the partner to which the booking is attributed belongs to a partner group, that will be printed here.

Booking Code

Invoice number of the booking.

Item Total

Total value of the booking.

Commission Amount

Total commission amount payable based on the item total and the item in question. Commission amounts can vary from item to item.

Commission Status

Current status of the commission payout. If money is owing, it will say Owed. If the commission has already been paid out, it will say Paid.

Commission Owed

The value in this field represents the commission to be paid. If the value is a positive number, such as $25, this is the commission that is owed to the partner. If the value is negative, such as -$25, this is the commission that is owed to you by the partner.

Booking Status

Current status of the booking in question.

Customer Name

Name of the customer by which the booking was made.


Item(s) which are part of the booking.

Payment Code

If a third-party voucher code was made to make the booking, maybe by a third-party booking agent, that code will be printed here.

Report columns can be managed by clicking on the Columns button, as shown below:


Each column has a pattern of 8 dots to the left of it. Click and hold your mouse on this, then drag the column into the order in which you would like it to appear. To remove a column from the report, uncheck it. Check a column to add it to the report.




Click on the blue Save button at the bottom when you are ready.


You can export your revenue report using the button to the right of the Columns button.


You are able to enter a name for the report and choose the output format.




Current formats include:

• MS Excel

The report can be saved to your computer, an email or Google Drive.
