Monthly Reservation Report

It would be very useful to have a report where I can see the reservation volume on a month-to-month basis. The report would be the same as the Monthly Booking Volume report, but unfortunately the existing report shows numbers based on the booking date instead of the reservation date so it's not useful for calculating actual demand for each month.

    Hi Parawing,

    Thanks for your feedback! I can imagine people would need a reservation report to view what times of the year or even what times of day they're busiest, or quiet. I will be adding it to our internal Feature Request list to let our product team know it's in demand.

    Was this report ever made?  I need a monthly report based on actual stays for that month to report lodging tax.  Thanks!

    Thank you for using our forums!

    While we haven't released a new report that reflects booking volume based on the reservation date, you may be able to use the Sales report by Booking Item and filtered by 'date: start' to get a similar result.

    We have a help guide on this report here.

    Alternatively, the Booking Index may be able to report this data as well.
