Guest Details | Change the wording on the Guest Details Page

Hi there!

Is there a way to change the wording at the top of the Guest Details page?

Rather than it saying that you can 'complete this later', I would like to change it to say that it is REQUIRED to fill out guest details. Perhaps it is possible to inject some code into the Custom Css area of Checkfront to change this.

Also - if it is possible to change the wording of Guest Details to Rider Details globally through the system, that would be great!

Thanks,

Matt

    Hi Matt,

    Thanks for your question! I'm happy to help.

    You can use Checkfront Translations to change the verbiage on the Guest Details page. Please check out the demo below.

    Please note that you can search the strings for 'Guest Details' to change that label specifically too.

    You can also use some CSS to hide the 'continue' button when customers attempt to continue to their receipt prior to filling the guest information. It can be added to Manage > Layout > Booking Page > CSS Editor.

    .confirm.btn.btn-lg.btn-info {
    display: none !important;
    }

    I hope this is helpful and feel free to reach back if you have any further questions.

    Have a great weekend,

  • This is great!

    Thanks for the reply and help!

    It would be awesome to see this level of detail / info within the Knowledge Base - perhaps in an advanced / developer section - just so that it was quicker to access.

    Thanks again!!
