Rules should apply to time slots

I am not sure why you can create an item event and be allowed to pick specific time slots and set a custom rule for this event but then the rule ignores the time slots we choose? What is the purpose of this? If we create a custom event with custom items, days, times etc all as selections then whatever custom rules we apply to it should effect only those items we picked.

    I'd be happy to clarify more about timeslot options within item events and the how this affects rules. Inside item events, the rules are currently applied on an item level.This means that the timeslot options only follows the date availability and the price options of the item. I do understand that with the current user interface, it does appear that it will apply rules to specific timeslots and can be a cause for confusion.

    I'd be happy to add you to an existing feature request as there have been a few other requests for this feature from other customers. At this time, our product team is reviewing the feature to be included in future updates to Checkfront and they are currently gathering requests in order to determine the number of customers that can benefit to this feature.

    At this time, our product team is reviewing the feature to be included in future updates to Checkfront and they are currently gathering requests in order to determine the number of customers that can benefit to this feature.

    Please tell the product team that Resource Management is what we'd like to see implemented next. Apparently they've been working on it since 2015 and there's still nothing to show.

    The ability to add cutoff rules for specific Timeslots hasn't yet been implemented for Checkfront V3 due to some complexity with determining Item availability. Our teams are instead working to include this improvement in Checkfront V4.
