Show unavailable and auto advance to next day

Currently if you show unavailable or sold out it does not let you use the auto advance to next day feature. Ideally both could be turned on so if an entire category is unavailable it would just move to the next day but it some items in the category are available while others are not it stays on the current day and the customer still sees those items exist but they are just either sold out or unavilable at that point in the day. Why must we pick one or the other?

  • Hi Clueiq,

Thank you for reaching out! My name is Jay and I will be helping you with your question.

Thank you very much for your feedback! We're always looking for new ways to improve our services to help your company make the most out of our software. I will pass along your list so our Product team better knows how the community wants to use Checkfront. All feedback is very helpful in making design decisions for future updates.

These features were designed in a mutually exclusive fashion as "Showing Unavailable" was intended to let customers select an item and see that item's upcoming availability on the calendar. On the other hand, advancing to the next date would move them further automatically, making it unnecessary to show what was unavailable. However, your thorough explanation sounds like a potential alternative option we would be happy to consider.

If you have any more questions feel free to email us at support@checkfront.com, and my team and I will be happy to help you out.

Have a great day and Happy Bookings!
