Highlight color weekends in calendar
Hi,
like the title suggest, it would be very helpful to have a little highlight of the weekends (columns) in the calendar view (customer and inventory)
It would be easier to "read"
Thanks

Hi Dedric,
It's great to hear from you!
Thank you for this idea - I agree that adding some extra styling to weekends could improve the readability of the Customer and Inventory Calendar especially when there are many items in an account.
I've submitted your insight and example mockup to our Product team.
Thanks again!

the Customer Calendar widget on the Dashboard is great, but since our business is like a medium-long term equipment rental, our bookings are typically 9-14 days longs.
so I have to extend the default date span of the widget every time (see https://www.checkfront.com/forum/discussion/2437/dashboard-default-period-bracket) but then I always have to scroll back up to see the day/date.
it would be very helpful to:
I'm sure many would find this very helpful….
Hi any update on this request ?
the Customer Calendar widget on the Dashboard is great, but since our business is like a medium-long term equipment rental, our bookings are typically 9-14 days longs.
so I have to extend the default date span of the widget every time (see https://www.checkfront.com/forum/discussion/2437/dashboard-default-period-bracket ) but then I always have to scroll back up to see the day/date.
it would be very helpful to:
-“freeze" the 1st row as a header (so it remains visible when scrolling)
-highlight the weekends in a slightly darker color
I'm sure many would find this very helpful….
I hope you're well!
I don't have any updates to share regarding weekend shading but I relayed that it's something you're still keen on seeing added.
I'd also expect that the Customer Calendar dashboard widget should have a fixed header which is helpful when scrolling. I've let our Development team know about this and will send you an email follow up when any improvements are made.
Thanks, and please let us know if you have any other questions.
Best,
Brittany

While I don't have any news related to weekend shading, I'm glad to be following up to let you know that we've released an update which includes the header row being fixed within the Customer Calendar widget.
Thanks, again or your continued feedback and please don't hesitate to reach back if any further questions come up.

(apologise for the multiple posts of the same message on august 20th; not sure what happened there…)
fixing the header is helpful and a good start in the right direction.
I'm now looking forward to see some colour/shading for the entire columns of the weekends.
Thanks
