Using particular values of a radio filter to show or hide one or more fields

Besides the primary renter/customer I have added a radio button filter that's labeled "list the total number of people in your group".  Value options are:  1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6. 7   (Each value is unique).

When someone selects 2, I want a text box to appear so I can have them enter the name of the second guest (the primary renter is the first).   When someone selects 3 I would like 2 separate text boxes to appear.  When they enter 4, 3 separate text boxes would appear.   The idea is that by having separate text boxes with the names of each additional guest I can create a less clumsy booking form and be able to create better notification emails.

Is this possible?  If so, how?

  • Hi Jim,

Thanks for participating in the Checkfront forums! Unfortunately, there isn't a way to automatically generate a specific amount of booking fields based on a quantity chosen from a drop-down field. The system doesn't have a way to understand the number selected in a drop-down field and connect it to another x amount of fields.

Please let us know if you have any other questions.

    Cheers
