Customer Specific Pricing

Hi,

Creating and managing customers accounts in Checkfront is a great feature!

I think there is an obvious next step which would be to enable Customer Specific Pricing and/or Customers Price Levels. It could be expressed in a percentage (discounted price) or based off of annual spending (Platinum, Gold, Silver, Wholesale, Repeat)..

Can you please create a feature request?

    I've passed on your feature request to our product team.

    As a suggestion in the meantime, you could set up several different discounts with codes, such as Platinum, Gold, Silver and Wholesale. Then you could send them to customers as they reach specific booking thresholds.

    To view how many bookings a customer has made you can go to Customers > Directory and sort by "Bookings", as seen here: http://www.screencast.com/t/9PvAva93re

  • I too would like to have customer-specific pricing/discounts. Most of my regular customers have negotiated pricing that is different from what is published online. Right now I have have to manually look up their pricing and edit each order by hand. Any progress on this one?

  • I'd like to add my name to the list, although I don't have hope it will ever happen, as it seems there haven't been any progress on this over the last 3.5 years!!!!

  • Looks like no one responded to Mitch's suggestion.  It will not work because the Discount Codes are always ADDITIVE to any other Seasonal or Special discounts,  I requested 2 or 3 years ago that Discount Codes have the ability to be additive or fixed and either a % discount or a Specific amount. No progress. So the only thing you can do with a Discount code is to give someone x%/x$ more on top of whatever other pricing is in place. Pretty much of zero value.

    Unfortunately it looks like the "exciting year" that was promised for 2019 is not going to happen either.  We are almost in Q4 and essentially nothing has been provided outside of some minor bug fixes.

    I've gone ahead and included your name on our existing feature request, Dedric.

    I have also noted on the feature request that there isn't currently an ideal workaround to overcome this pain point.

    While this request is on our radar, and I do agree that this could be a helpful improvement for particular use cases, customer-specific pricing is not a request that we're actively working on at this time.

    As always, your ideas and feedback are greatly appreciated.

    Is anything being actively worked on right now? It still feels like development has more or less stopped for the last several years.

We deploy multiple times a week, and we are currently doing a lot of back-end development work as we work towards our next major release - resource management. We've recently released an integration with Zapier, as well as Reserve with Google
