15 and 30 minute intervals

Hi, I have been using Checkfront for several months now. Our business is an education centre offering tours for school excursions, as well as accommodation.

I am very happy with the system however one aspect is very very annoying - the fact that we cannot allocate 15 and 30 minute intervals i.e we have a school arrive on site to commence their tour at 9:30 am and it runs for 2.5hrs - we can't schedule them!! Same with allocating their lunch at 12:30 or 12:45pm - it is crucial for us to be able to do this in order for us to print reports for our staff rosters and kitchen requirements, otherwise it is causing us to have to double handle and retype these schedules manually. This is very time consuming and unnecessary when it should be fairly simple to allow us to do this through the system.

Looking through the request history it seems this has been a common issue for some time now and I cannot understand why it has not been implemented yet?

    Checkfront has decided to add the 15 and 30 minute interval features into the system. This is a very heavy lift for our application. We would love to give a definite time frame for this feature but we cannot.

    Please look for this feature release sometime early fall 2015
  • Still, would be nice to be able to allocate 15 or 30 minutes intervals in the system. We have a kindergarten business and eating or playing schedule isn't restricted to hours but often set at 9.30 a.m. for example.

    Thank you for using the forums. 

    Since this thread was started, we have added 10, 15, and 30-minute allocations to the system. 

    This is found on the Attributes page on the item when creating or editing.
