jQuery on googleapis.com is blocked by Chinese GFW
in Developers
What is Chinese GFW ? http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Great_Firewall
http://ajax.googleapis.com/ajax/libs/jquery/2.1.1/jquery.min.js can not load on our Chinese clients also show the booking iframe.
Would you please use another hosting like jQuery official CDN or http://www.asp.net/ajax/cdn?
Or we can checkout this link:

Thanks a lot !

Thank you Jason!
I tried track the links, there still were:
http://www.google-analytics.com/analytics.js
http://ajax.googleapis.com/ajax/libs/jquery/2.1.1/jquery.min.js
Am I missed any step to do ?
You will see the 'http://ajax.googleapis.com/ajax/libs/jquery/2.1.1/jquery.min.js' source loaded in the html page source. We have implemented a fallback for the Chinese GFW which will use our local jQuery file and act as a bypass.
While the development team does not release a timeline of the scheduled software updates it is however expected to see a monthly release cycle of software patches which would include the patch that would affect the JQuery issue that you are inquiring about. I would expect to see a release in the next couple of weeks if not sooner.
Thanks for the followup. It's really important that we're able to resolve this issue because many of our customers will be booking from China. The next couple of weeks are crucial for our platform as we're at the phase where traction is of the upmost importance. I appreciate everything your team has done so far, and really hope this can be resolved ASAP.
Best Regards,
You should see a notification when you login to Checkfront if an update has been made, you can also take a look at our updates page to see the issues that will be resolved for that update. You can find it here: https://www.checkfront.com/updates
Cheers,
It still doesn't seem to work. I had a friend in China test for me just now, but it still did not work. Any suggestions?
The application has just been updated to use our own CDN for jQuery. Feel free to try it out now, and don't hesitate to let us know if there are any other issues.
It works!! Thanks all you guys!
