Customer Success Advocate

Location: Victoria, BC

Checkfront is seeking a self-motivated Customer Success Advocate to engage with new and existing customers of our popular cloud-based booking and e-commerce application. Checkfront encourages a work-life balance, aligning staff with goals that are mutually beneficial.

Qualities We Look For

Our Success Advocates present introductory coaching calls to new customers and monitor the customer’s account health, proactively reaching out when we see the need. We work closely with our stellar support and product teams to foster positive results for our customers.

Preferred candidates for this position will demonstrate excellent written and verbal communication skills, good technical knowledge of SaaS environments with past customer service/technical support experience, and be excited to help our customers succeed. We want to hear from you if you have to following qualities:

  • Present live coaching calls in a webinar environment
  • Monitor/audit existing customer accounts health score
  • Proactively reach out to customers that exhibit support needs
  • Determine customer support needs and effectively communicate these to the support team
  • Establish and submit feature requests
  • Work with our marketing team to acquire customer feedback and testimonials


  • Previous account management in a customer service environment
  • Previous experience with technology based solutions
  • Excellent command of the English language, both written and spoken
  • Advanced time management and multitasking skills
  • Positive customer-focused attitude

Bonus Points For

  • Experience using SaaS tools including, but not limited to: Desk, Google Apps, Olark, JIRA
  • Experience in WordPress, Joomla, and other CMS integrations such as Squarespace, Wix etc.
  • Help desk experience (, Zendesk etc) valuable but not essential.
  • Familiarity with the hotel/tour/rental industry.
  • Fluency in other languages an asset.
