New Checkfront Dropbox
Friday, February 19th, 2010
Hey! Integrating Checkfront just got easier...
You can now embed a Checkfront booking window virtually anywhere using our new Dropbox. The Checkfront Dropbox is a compact, standards compliant XHTML / Ajax widget that embeds a real time interactive booking window into any web page — no programming required.
The Dropbox will adapt to your website style and layout, giving your users a truly integrated experience, while still giving you a powerful and secure booking process.
You can find your Dropbox widget by logging into your Checkfront Management Console and going to Extend / Integrate / Dropbox.
Here is a live demo of the Dropbox in action:

Your feedback is appreciated.
ENJOY!

“We are a new startup and Checkfront offered a low cost way to start booking our boat rentals. We have been very satisfied so far.”Brad Damm, AnglersRental

Hi
Checkfront seems great. I think it is going to be a nice tool once finished. It would be great if it could be like a shopping cart where customers can add as many of the tours, cabins, rentals etc. before they can check out. Also it looks like, you can only have one DEFAULT UNIT as nights, days, hour. It should be different for different inventory, Tours should be day or hour, hotels should be days, bicycle renlta, jet ski rental should be hour.
Are they already in the system and am my missing it?
Thanks again for this great work
Levent
Hello, the “cart” functionality already exists. We’ve added a couple more items to the demo here so you can see.
We are working on allowing different unit types based on category… so stay tuned.
Thanks!
I would agree with Levent. We’re a bus tour agent and tours we offer are a package basis.
Is there also a way we could have a booking for a particular item instead of showing all inventories on a single booking page?
