Is it possible to embed the 2.0 booking interface or is the hosted booking page currently the only option?
Will this be rolled out to Joomla or even just the 'drop in' code anytime soon or will this always be limited to the hosted page for payment security reasons? Can we get a reliable ETA?
Finally got around to playing with the new booking interface. I was skeptical at first but it seems to work so much better than 1.x that I'm now sold on it and would like to integrate it into the site.
We do have some members embedding the hosted booking page just by way of an iframe ( see here for an example: http://rentals.coastalurge.com/booking ). There are some limitations in this approach, generally dealing with layout control, sizing and scrolling on the screen.
Our v2 plugins are under development. I can't provide an ETA at this time other than ASAP. I can confirm this is our biggest burning request right now, and it's on the very top of our list.
I've been working on integrating an iFrame booking window and one of the main issues with it has been a "This booking is empty" error not allowing me to go through with it. I thought adblock might be the culprit or something in the cache but I still receive this error after disabling adblock and trying to book through the Coastal Urge site above - see screen capture: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7OVq7oFCOW4
Booking through an iframe on my wife's computer seems to work fine so I'm at a loss to explain it...
