A long standing request has been to the ability to adjust the quantity of upsells / or packaged items.  This is now possible with "simple priced" items.

An example would be a booking, with multiple up-sells, such as t-shirt, drink tickets, # of pets etc where a configurable quantity is required.  These can be priced per booking, or per day / night.

Simple priced items do not use events, and are not tied to your booking parameters (adults etc).  They can exist in, or outside of a package.

To create a simple priced item, create an inventory item as you normally would.  Specify the quantity, or set to unlimited.  For pricing, select "use simple pricing",  supply the item amount, and create the item.  If the item is included as part of a package, the option will be presented to supply a quantity.




Please note the following limitations:

This only works on the v2.0 Checkout, either internally or on the hosted booking page.  If you are using a CMS plugin the quantity will be set to the same as the parent item.  New plugins are around the corner, so hold tight.

"Lock calendar" needs to be enabled (default) under the advanced settings.
